Some general campus mailing lists are used by more than one department and for different purposes. Use caution when requesting removal of a name because you might stop receiving mail important to you.
- If provided, follow the mailer's instructions; or
- Draw a vertical line through the address or a photocopy of it so it can still be read;
- Mark the mail or photocopy with the change(s) above or to the right of the original address; or print "Return to Sender--Delete" above the address;
- Place in an envelope addressed to the sender.
