MyFinancial.desktop (MyFD) is retiring

MyFinancial.desktop (MyFD) is retiring to support UW Finance Transformation (UWFT) and the implementation of Workday Finance. To learn more see the Frequently Asked Questions.

The reports in MyFD do not need to be printed and meet records retention requirements. If your unit's business process previously required printing of these reports, we recommend reviewing your department's policies and talking with your administrator regarding keeping only electronic records instead of printing additional copies.

Note that any reports, including printed MyFD reports, which are signed and dated to document reconciliation activity must then be maintained in accordance with the University's retention schedule. For information, please visit Records Management Services and also consult with Internal Audit to verify your current business processes meet requirements.

If printing and/or extracting is necessary, you should a) consult with Records Management and Internal Audit regarding proper procedures, b) adjust your security settings and turn off pop-up blockers and c) not user the browser's Back button.

MyFD supports the latest W3C Standards using Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. This should also work on other browsers that are standards-compliant. If you experience problems with other browsers, please contact your local IT department.

Default Print Setting

You may select either PDF or HTML as your default print setting from the MyFD Setup menu. PDF will print in landscape and requires a current version of Adobe Reader; HTML requires no additional software and will print in portrait.
