How will UWFT benefit me?
• A single source for finance means less reliance on multiple, often conflicting, sets of data
• Less cut-and-paste and reports produced in Excel
• Less ambiguity in policy and increased expertise in process means less back-and-forth
• The balance of work should shift away from transactional/data-gathering and towards higher-value activities

How & when should I engage?
• Volunteer to be a Change Agent or in a user task group
• Download tools and fact sheets from the Change Network
• Attend (or watch videos of) a cross-process design workshop
• Get first view of Workday Financials with user playback sessions
• Subscribe to the UWFT newsletter

I lead or manage one of UW's business units. <br>

How will UWFT benefit me?
• Quicker access to more accurate and real-time information about unit spend and revenue
• Increased support for forecasting and fiscal planning

How & when should I engage?
• Invite UWFT to give updates and answer questions at monthly or quarterly unit/team meetings

I’m responsible for a grant line or reporting on some financial activity. <br>

How will UWFT benefit me?

How & when should I engage?
• Give feedback to a school/college-hosted faculty focus group, so the program can hear specific needs

I rely on financial systems to purchase things to get reimbursements. <br>

How will UWFT benefit me?
• Less ambiguity in policy and increased expertise in process means less back-and-forth
• The requisition and purchasing process will be streamlined to fast-track requests
• Get reimbursements and approvals quicker

How & when should I engage?
• Attend a Finance Transformation roadshow to get the 101 on the program and its timeline
• Give feedback to a school/college-hosted faculty focus group, so the program can hear specific needs
• Subscribe to the UWFT newsletter

I don’t do any finance work, but hear that this project is important to the UW.

How will UWFT benefit me?
• Burden and stress of financial activities will be reduced at the unit level, permitting leadership to do more proactive planning, free resources (to support staff) in mission-critical work, and reduce uncertainty at the unit level
