As part of our Together We Thrive initiative, we continue to explore opportunities to enhance efficiency and foster collaboration across our three campuses. These changes are aligned with our ongoing efforts to optimize resources and expertise to support the university's strategic goals.
Facilities Capital Accounting Team: Effective April 16th, the Facilities Capital Accounting team joined the University Controller’s Office within FPB. This move aims to centralize accounting functions and improve the functionality of year-round and year-end transactional work. Our goal is to streamline processes and improve efficiency within centralized university accounting functions.
Institutional Assessment & Evaluation (IAE): Effective May 1st, IAE, formally the Office of Educational Assessment, joined the Institutional Analytics & Decision Support (IADS) division within FPB. This integration aims to enhance our collective capability to make data-informed decisions and align our analytical and assessment activities with strategic institutional goals. By integrating IAE into IADS, we aim to leverage overlapping missions, functions, and skills to better support our institutional academic objectives. This move is also informed by practices observed at peer institutions, where similar integrations have led to improved data-driven decision-making and enhanced support for academic and administrative functions. Both IAE and IADS share a commitment to supporting the university's mission through data analysis, assessment, evaluation, and reporting.
