Re: UW Survey on Library Usage

Dear UW Faculty, Students and Staff:

The University of Washington’s Management Accounting & Analysis (MAA) Office is conducting an anonymous survey starting November 20, 2023 to determine how library services and materials are used.  This survey is routine for most large research universities and has been conducted several times previously at UW.

The survey will be conducted once monthly during a randomly selected two-hour period, November 2023 through October 2024.  During these two-hour periods, there will be both a web survey connected to the Libraries website and select electronic resources, as well as an in-person survey at select Libraries locations.  The surveys consist of a small number of questions and should take no more than two minutes to complete.

Your response to this short survey is very important.  Data collected supports federal reporting requirements.

MAA have engaged the Privacy Office to ensure all user privacy is protected. Personal information will not be collected unless a respondent chooses to share it.  Responses will be anonymous and aggregated
