How do I know if my financial aid or a refund has been direct deposited to my bank account?

There are two things you will need to do: + Check on [MyUW](http://myuw.washington.edu/) under *Personal Services* to verify the direct deposit of funds. + Contact your bank to verify if the funds were deposited into your account. Note that it may take 2-3 business days after UW releases the funds for them to show up on your bank statement. To avoid any *insufficient fund* verify with your bank that the money is available before writing checks or using your debit card.
