If you sign up for Direct Deposit on [MyUW](http://myuw.washington.edu/) under *Personal Services*, you can avoid having to pick up your check in person. After tuition and fees are paid, any excess funds will be deposited directly to your bank account. The funds should be available in your bank account three business days after you sign your loan documents or at the beginning of the quarter, whichever is later. If you are not able to use Direct Deposit, you will need to request that a check be mailed to you. + Before requesting a check, check your tuition statement on [MyUW](https://sdb.admin.washington.edu/students/uwnetid/tuition.asp) and verify that you have either a credit balance or undisbursed aid available. + Fill out the [Aid Check Request Form](http://finance.uw.edu/sfs/students/disburse) to have your check mailed to you. If your request is submitted by 3:45pm Monday-Friday, the check will be mailed the same day. Requests r eceived after 3:45pm, on weekends or on holidays will be mailed the following business day.
