You may drop or change your student health insurance via [MyUW](http://myuw.washington.edu/) during the first week of a quarter, provided you are not:
+ An international student who has **not** received an [insurance waiver](http://www.washington.edu/students/gencat/front/International.html)
+ Attending [UW Bothell](http://www.bothell.washington.edu/students/services/insurance.xhtml)
+ Attending [UW Tacoma](https://www.tacoma.washington.edu/studentaffairs/SHW/shw_insurance.cfm)
Students attending UW Bothell or UW Tacoma will need to drop insurance following the information on their respective campus websites (provided in the links above).
In all cases, failure to drop coverage by the end of the first week will result in your being required to retain your selected insurance coverage.
