SLT210/M8-17: Direct Lending Control Screen

Definition:

Displays Direct Loans awarded to student for the year including total dollar & disbursement date, promissory note information and PLUS loan address information.

Instructions:

To view the Plus Parent Address/loan information at the bottom, replace with an S in the Sig field.

Data Definition:

Sig: Where N (no) or M (yes) means the promissory note is signed. 
Loan: Type of loan where X (Perkins), S (Subsidized), U (Unsubsidized), G (Grad Plus) or P (Parent) is
      the first digit in loan id followed by three digits (i.e. 001 means that is the first loan).  
      If you see P001 and P002, that means there are two Parent Plus loans, usually for different parent.
PN: where A (Accepted) or E (error) for loan (refer to Financial Aid)
OR: refrer to Financial Aid
PRT: No longer used. (Previously used to print promissory notes in office)
Amt1/2/3/4: Total dollar amount authorized to disburse for the quarter
Date1/2/3/4: Disbursement date for authorized amount for the quarter
Plus Parent Address: Parent information for plus loan
Name L: Last name of parent
F: First name of parent
M: Middle initial of parent
SSN: Parent's Social Security Number
DOB: Parent's Date of birth
Address: Parent's address (to where PLUS loan check will be sent to)
City: City of Residence
St: State
Zip: Postal code
Citizen: where 1 (yes) or 2(no)
ARN(2): Not used
Reg Amt: Amount Parent requested to borrow
In default:where Y (yes) or N (No) if parent has defaulted on loan ( Not used-should always be N)
Credit St: where A (approved), D (denied) or E (second co-signer) for credit check
