Short-Term Loans

Most long-term loans may be refinanced through consolidation. Consolidation loans are available through the [Federal Direct Consolidation Loan](http://loanconsolidation.ed.gov/index.html) program. There are two ways you may return your signed promissory note for processing: + Send it via US mail in the return envelope provided with your promissory note. + In person at [Schmitz Hall, Rm 129](http://f2.washington.edu/fm/sfs/location-hours) (you may have to wait in line) Your note will usually be processed on the same day it is received and be available for disbursement at that time.
