Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) provides comprehensive support and optimization services for business operations within the Workday ecosystem and across various functional areas. Responsibilities:
- Workday Support and Optimization
- Provide end-to-end support for all Workday modules, including but not limited to Financial Management, Payroll, Grant Management, Procure-to-Pay, Student Fiscal Services, and Workday FDM.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize Workday configurations, workflows, and integrations to streamline processes and improve user experience.
- Stay informed of Workday updates, releases, and best practices to ensure our organization is leveraging the latest features and functionalities to its fullest potential.
- Cross-Functional Operations:
- Collaborate with the Shared Environments (SEs), fellow Finance, Planning & Budgeting (FPB) units, various departments, and stakeholders to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for cross-functional process improvements and synergies to drive efficiency and alignment across the organization.
- Facilitate cross-departmental initiatives and projects aimed at optimizing business processes, enhancing collaboration, and delivering value to stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning and Alignment:
- Work closely with executive leadership to align business services strategies with overall organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a roadmap for continuous improvement initiatives. Work with Workday Coordination Services (WCS) to prioritize efforts based on strategic importance and potential impact.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations on investments in technology, resources, and capabilities to support the long-term growth and success of the organization.
- Change Management and Training:
- Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, technologies, and organizational changes.
- Provide subject matter expertise to guide the development of training programs, workshops, and resources to empower employees with the knowledge and skills required to leverage business services effectively.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement by promoting knowledge sharing, best practices, and feedback mechanisms.
