Financial Reporting is an organization of the University Controller's Office (UCO) and is primarily responsible for:
- The preparation and publication of the University of Washington's audited financial statements and related financial reports.
- Oversight and management of the monthly and fiscal year-end close process.
- Leading the UW academy general ledger reconcilation process (GLARP).
- The integration of the UW financial data into the State of Washington's Agency Financial Reporting System (AFRS), reconciliation, and related annual financial statement reporting.
- Providing accounting guidance and support to the greater UW enterprise
