My instructor added credits for me. Do I still have to pay the late change of registration fee?

The Registration Office charges $20 late change fee for changes made after the 8th day of the quarter. For all changes made within a day there is only one charge. If your instructor adds a class and you are charged a fee, you may ask them to send email to the Registration Office regoff@u.washington.edu asking to have the fee waived.
