Students are required to give permission via MyUW before student fiscal information can be given to third parties such as parents. The third party will receive an email notification once this access has been established with their own password to allow them to view a modified version of MyUW. Please go to can sdb.admin.washington.edu/sisStudents/uwnetid/release.aspx to find account access.

  1. The tuition statement on MyUW serves as the official tuition bill. No paper bills are sent for tuition. MyUW can be found at my.uw.edu.
  2. Housing & Food Services will bill separately for UW housing. This fee will appear on the official tuition bill at the beginning of the quarter only if the student notifies Housing & Food Services that financial aid will pay for their housing.

FAQ
Your student may update your email address from their tuition statement on MyUW. They will make the update in the same place that they set up your original information release. Here is a direct link that you may forward to your student for logging in to the information release: https://sdb.admin.washington.edu/sisStudents/uwnetid/release.aspx

Before SFS can disburse GET funds to pay tuition or housing charges, the GET account owner needs to fill out and submit the *Direct Payment Request* form [online](http://www.get.wa.gov/currentcustomers.shtml). After the GET program has approved the disbursement request, SFS will apply the funds to the student’s account to pay tuition, fees or housing charges. For additional information, see the [SFS GET page](http://finance.uw.edu/sfs/get).

Various regulations prevent us from sharing student account information with third parties, including parents, guardians and spouses. If you would like someone other than yourself to have online access to financial information, you must fill out an Online Information Authorization -- authorizing up to two other people to have online access. This form is available on [MyUW](http://myuw.washington.edu), from the tuition statement.

The University of Washington does not mail tuition statements. All tutition and fee statements are created electronlically and are available through [MyUW](http://myuw.washington.edu). This is your official billing statement. The University will send a message to your UW registered email account reminding you to check your tuition statement. The first reminder is emailed during the week before the quarter.

The [tuition due date](http://finance.uw.edu/sfs/tuition/duedate) is the 3rd Friday of the quarter. Payments must be received in the Student Fiscal Services Office by 5 PM on the tuition due date to be considered on time. Payments received after 5 PM on the due date will receive a [late fee](http://finance.uw.edu/sfs/tuition/duedate). Tutition payments may be made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via [web check payment](http://finance.uw.edu/sfs/tuition/payment) (it's free!).
