UWFT has established the following guiding principles in partnership with leaders across the institution who have designated the program as a core institutional priority:
 

1. STANDARDIZED AND SIMPLIFIED PROCESSES ensure enterprise-wide productivity gains
2. A CONSOLIDATED AND INTEGRATED computing infrastructure eliminates redundancy
3. Financial and management reports result from a TRUSTED SYSTEM OF RECORD 
4. DEFINED STAGE GATES mitigate risk and show clear decision criteria
5. Through reciprocal change management and communication, ensure all units are OPERATIONAL AT LAUNCH
