If a visa is obtained through a request to the Office of Academic Personnel and Faculty (APF), the associated fees are not allowable on federal sponsored awards.

If the visa was obtained through a non-UW resource, associated visa costs are allowable and should be allocated to the Award(s) on which the individual will be allocating their time. Visa costs cannot be covered based on budgetary convenience.
