ECC Roles and Responsibilities for Effort Coordinators
There are two main operational roles in ECC: Effort Coordinators and Effort Certifiers (includes faculty).
The responsibilities of an Effort Coordinator include:
- Complete initial review (click the “Pre Review” button) of all ECC statements
- Make adjustments or changes to statement if necessary (PAAs/Shifts)
- Leave comments and attachments on the statement to help document unique/uncommon circumstances
- Assist Effort Certifiers (faculty/PIs) with the effort reporting process to ensure accurate reporting of salary charges made directly to grants and cost shared effort performed
