Visa costs can be either entry visas into foreign countries or visas to allow for employment/residency in the US (e.g., H-1B) or another country. Unless explicitly prohibited by the Sponsor, visa costs are allowable as long as the cost is necessary for the completion of the Award objectives.
Visa costs should be allocated to the Awards on which the staff member will be allocating their time.
Visa costs cannot be allocated based on budgetary convenience.
