Week of 5/22 Workday Finance Stabilization update

Procurement Stabilization Update

Central Procurement is actively working towards stabilizing Workday and reducing the invoice backlog. Our current outstanding balance is $25 million. To address this, alongside our ongoing efforts in various work queues in the central Accounts Payable Office, we have introduced a new initiative focused on a weekly top 5: the highest dollar amount outstanding late invoices. Central Procurement has started direct outreach and communication with the relevant shared environment contacts for each of these top 5 invoices, aiming to clear them within a 5-day period. Work under this initiative started last week and we are seeing positive results.

Student Data Base- Workday Integration

We have concluded Phase 1 of the Student Database-Workday integration remediation. During this phase, we identified and prioritized all issues in this area. We are now entering Phase 2, where we will develop and implement solutions and corrections. For this phase, we have engaged the Huron consulting firm. Huron onboarded in early May, and we are beginning to build momentum. Huron will provide status updates and report on progress ad hoc during the shared environment weekly sessions.
