Blanket GIM 19 Waiver for proposals with a GIM 19 deadline of 7/07
Greetings Colleagues,
Proposals with a GIM 19 deadline of July 7th may miss that deadline due to intermittent SAGE down time that was earlier reported. Due to these technical issues, any proposal with a GIM 19 deadline of July 7th (today) has been moved to Monday, July 10th.

Grant Tracker and Award Portal Updates
Grant Tracker will be placed in read-only mode at 7:00pm this evening. Department reports will be unavailable at that time as well as communication with GCA. We expect to release Award Portal the morning of Tuesday, July 11 and will send a follow up communication confirming the application is available.

eFECS Biennium Lockout
The eFECS systems (Effort Reporting, Cost Share Module, and Non-FEC Tagging System) will be unavailable beginning Monday, July 3rd at 5pm until Monday, July 10th, 2023, due to the biennium crossover.
The eFECS systems will be available again on Monday, July 10th, 2023.

Sponsor Invoicing Freeze Dates
As part of the Workday-dictated conversion process and to appropriately account for revenue in the correct fiscal year, Grant & Contract Accounting’s legacy invoicing system will be frozen while life-to-date balances are collected and loaded into Workday. Once frozen, GCA will no longer be able to submit sponsor invoices until invoicing in Workday begins in early August.
