This Unmet Cost Share Report  assists departments in determining the status of required mandatory and committed cost sharing by budget.

Access to the report

Active/Expired Budgets

  • The report displays both active and expired budgets. Active budgets are included as a tool to track the progress in meeting the cost share commitments. Prompt action should be taken on expired budgets to document the actual cost share. This will facilitate closing of the budget.

Unrecovered Indirect Costs

  • Grant and Contract Accounting (GCA) will updates the unrecovered indirect costs quarterly. The updates are completed by the end of January, April, July and October. MAA sends emails to departments in February, May, August and November alerting them that the update has been completed and that departments can review the Unmet Cost Share Report.
