Read-only data from OASIS is available on the BI Portal site beginning July 2, 2024. It is accessible to anyone who had OASIS access. You will find it by going to the Portal (https://biportal.uw.edu/home) and searching for 'OASIS'. The report list will come up; the report you will want to use the Asset Lookup, which is designed to function like the Ad Hoc Report did. This report also allows you to click into individual assets to see features that were available in OASIS - the Expenditures table, the History data, Miscellaneous data, and Notes.
- Note: The Closing Report is designed for EIO use only. It will not provide the degree of information that the Asset Lookup report will, and it has very limited search criteria. If you wish to know more about the Closing report, please contact eio@uw.edu.
There is an 'Interpretation' section on the Asset Lookup report landing page; it is highly recommended that you refer to that for detailed assistance with navigating the report. It provides details on simply running a wide-open report for all your assets that were in OASIS, as well as how to use the filters for more detailed searches (all assets under a specific custodian, for example). The report has been designed to run full wildcard searches, so the OASIS '*' is no longer needed at the beginning and end of a search term. The reports are exportable (the csv version is recommended for sorting or modifying the report format).
