As of April 30, 2018, full, research non-collaborative opportunity proposals for the National Science Foundation (NSF) can be prepared and submitted in Research.gov.

Initially, this new functionality will run parallel with existing FastLane capabilities. As a result, full, research non-collaborative proposals can be prepared and submitted either in Research.gov or in FastLane effective April 30, 2018.

Notes:

  • Opportunities not listed in Research.gov must be submitted within FastLane
  • Proposals that include Subawards are considered collaborative and for now, must still be submitted via FastLane
  • Proposals in Research.gov will not be available in FastLane, and proposals in FastLane will not be available Research.gov.

Research.gov will eventually replace FastLane for proposal preparation and submission.

Other proposal types will be added to Research.gov as NSF incrementally migrates capabilities from FastLane to Research.gov.

NSF is providing a preview of this new functionality until 4/29.  Anything created within the preview will not be reviewed and will be wiped from Research.gov when the functionality goes live.

Thank you,
