The Office of Research is pleased to announce the updated Faculty Grants Management Online Refresher. As you know, Principal investigators (PIs) must participate in a Faculty Grants Management (FGM) workshop when they have active grants that are funded by an external sponsor. They are also required to take a refresher course every four years – the new online course meets that requirement. This forty-five minute module-based course is designed to give a brief overview of research compliance and to highlight recent changes in research administration and policy.
Your investigators may be prompted with a letter to take the FGM Refresher, so you can now let them know where to go to register. There is a lot of helpful information and you may want to take this course as well.
