Greetings Colleagues,
With the announcements from the Seattle Public School District, Bellevue School District, and other school districts in the region on school closure for at least two weeks, we are considering the impact on those who prepare or support the preparation of proposals. This is in addition to possible other COVID-19 related impacts to proposal preparation, such as PI or key personnel illness.
As such, the authority to grant GIM 19 waiver requests has been expanded within OSP until March 31st when the underlying reason for the waiver request is due to COVID-19 impacts. Forwarding and concurrence of such GIM 19 waiver requests by the unit’s Chair or unit Director is not needed during this time.
