Updated DOD COVID-19 Guidance links on 3/27/2020
Greetings Colleagues,
The Department of Defense (DOD) has issued a set of COVID-19 FAQs based on Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Memorandum ( M-20-17). These FAQs cover a range of topics and in many ways are consistent with NIH and NSF guidelines recently shared with MRAM, with one notable exception. While DOD policy supports no-cost extensions whenever possible, funding expiration statutes may prohibit such extensions. Please contact your DOD grants manager for award-specific guidance.
When contacting your DOD Grants Manager with award specific COVID-19 questions, use OSP’s instructions for how to contact sponsors. If flexibility is granted or pertinent information shared by the program manager related to a proposal, include that information in your eGC1.
Some DOD agencies are issuing guidance that is specific to them. These will be modified as things change, so please check back frequently.
