Greetings Colleagues,
NIH announced immediate changes to the process for post-submission updates made in their Human Subjects System (HSS). These changes could impact preparation and submission of NIH Research Project Progress Reports (RPPRs) due today. Please see the above link for detailed information, including screenshots.
The updates result from the transition to FORMS-F and address new requirements for participant-level data on sex/gender, race, ethnicity, and age at enrollment for projects subject to the NIH Policy and Guidelines on the Inclusion of Individuals Across the Lifespan as Participants in Research Involving Human Subjects.
Thank you,
Carol Rhodes
Director
Office of Sponsored Programs
