We realize there have been a lot of regulatory and sponsor policy updates recently, particularly in the quickly changing areas for reporting Foreign Interests and Current and Pending or Other Support. There have also always been questions about Who is considered an Investigator. In response, we have updated and added some new web resources. Please share these widely.
Current and Pending, or Other Support:
Provides information on preparing documentation for NSF, NIH, DoD and NASA. This includes information on in-kind contributions, affiliations, and other types of support, including foreign, that is related to the key personnel’s research. We anticipate more changes in this area from NIH in October and intend to keep this web guidance in step.
We are sometimes asked about PI eligibility, Co-PIs, Applicant PIs, and other types of roles on a project and related responsibilities, including SFI disclosure. This new web content is intended to provide some high level guidance in this area.
