On October 5th, 2020, NSF will require the NSF-Approved Formats for Biographical Sketches & Current and Pending Support documentation. NSF systems will have automated compliance checks in place which will prevent proposal submissions or completion of post award actions if these approved formats are not used. These compliance checks will also apply to Change of PI requests, Add/Change co-PI requests, and relevant RPPR submissions when notifying NSF that active other support has changed since the award was made, or since the most recent annual report.
The NSF-approved formats are SciENcv: Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae and an NSF fillable PDF.
Using the NSF Approved Fillable PDF Format?
Download and save the blank PDF document (revised May 2020) before adding content. Adding content directly into a web browser (e.g., Chrome or Safari) may result in format inconsistencies.
