The estimated Fiscal Year 2022 fringe benefit rates (preliminary rates) are available in the Benefit Rate Table and within SAGE budget.
These rates reflect estimates of employee benefit costs to be incurred by the UW in fiscal year 2022. Review more information on how fringe benefit load rates are established.
For multi-year sponsored program proposed budgets, you may use the proposed rates to estimate costs, however they are subject to change.
To apply the new rates to a SAGE Budget in progress:
- Go to the Properties tab of your SAGE budget
- Scroll to Benefit Rates and choose “Use Preliminary Budget Rates”
- Click “Update Benefit Rates"
