Dear Colleagues,

As I’m sure you know, there will be many changes in administrative processes resulting from Finance Transformation that impact our researchers. I’m writing to ask for your help in alerting faculty to upcoming changes in effort reporting.

 

Employee Compensation Compliance (ECC) is a new effort reporting solution, provided by Huron Consulting, which will replace effort reporting and project certification systems at the UW and Harborview. Go-live is July 2023, with initial certifications occurring soon after.

 

To learn more about ECC and the resources available to support users through this change, please refer to The Future of Effort Reporting at the UW, which also outlines different ways people can contribute to this implementation.

 

The ECC Project Team aims to maintain transparency, communication, and collaboration throughout this project. You will hear from them again as the project develops.
