Dear Research Colleagues,

The following updates have been released to SAGE in the past week as incremental improvements to reported performance issues.

Grant Runner

  • Slow Performance for Connected Budgets: Navigation performance has been improved on Grant Runner applications with an RR Detailed Budget that syncs with a connected SAGE budget.

SAGE Awards

  • Status Update Delays: The processing speed of status updates for Award Setup Request (ASR), Modification Request (MOD), and Advance Requests (ADV) approvals and returns has been improved.

SAGE Budget

  • Worksheet Settings Save Behavior: The worksheet settings have been updated to improve saving and recalculation for cost centers, grant hierarchies, and the F&A areas.
  • Other Costs Quantity & Unit Price: The saving and recalculation of costs is now quicker when an entry is added to the Other Costs section in a budget and the user updates the quantity and unit price.

FIDS

  • Disclosure Notification Delays: FIDS was occasionally timing out when sending disclosure notifications on applications with many key personnel or for personnel with many disclosures. As a result, not all recipients were receiving timely disclosure notifications. A fix has been released to improve performance and eliminate timeouts on disclosure notifications.

eGC1

  • Fix: Disclosure History Link Error: The eGC1 disclosure history link on the PI and Personnel page now displays the history of disclosures as expected.

Upcoming Release Targets
The SAGE team is continuing to work on the following areas, with additional improvements on the way soon.

  • SAGE Award Optimizations: Continue to improve performance of load and navigation on ASRs, MODs, and ADVs.
  • SAGE Budget Line Entry and Saving: Continue to incrementally update SAGE Budget with focus on personnel and other cost entry improvements.

The SAGE team is also working on other optimizations, as detailed in the email sent on July 24. If you are experiencing issues in other areas of SAGE, please contact us at sagehelp@uw.edu.

We appreciate your ongoing feedback and partnership.

Thank you,

Office of Research Information Services (ORIS)
