The new OASIS training consists of training videos and a set of exercises to be performed in our training database. To gain access to the training database and to receive the training package, please contact us at

Target Audience

This course is recommended for departmental inventory contacts and individuals who will be assisting or backing up the inventory contact.

Prior to receiving your training package you will be sent an OASIS access permission form, which needs to be completed before you will be given access to the training (and regular) database. Complete your permission form with all the organization codes that you should have access to, and please include one active budget number within one of your organization codes.

Our training database is refreshed every quarter. Depending on the time you have been setup in the training database you may have up to 3 months to complete the training.  Examples of the refresh are 1/1, 4/1, 7/1, 10/1.  After the refresh is complete all class data will be erased.   If you are completing this close to the refresh date it's important that you contact our department that you have competed your training so we can review it.

Below are links to the OASIS training videos. These videos, in conjunction with your class packet, comprise the OASIS class. It is recommended that the videos be viewed at least once before beginning the training exercises. We encourage you to refer to the videos during your training if needed.

Equipment Inventory also encourages OASIS users to view these videos for refreshers on the various OASIS tasks. And please check back regularly for new videos on other inventory-related topics.
