The SAGE Grant Runner release to incorporate FORMS-H will be deferred until after UWFT Go Live. We anticipate release in time for the October deadlines. Please continue to use NIH ASSIST until further notice.

The Office of Research invites applications to the Spring 2023 round of the Royalty Research Fund (RRF) grant program. Proposals are due Monday, March 6, by 5:00 PM. Awards will be announced by June 15, 2023.

The purpose of the RRF is to advance new directions in research, particularly:

A system wide Zoom crash last week prevented CORE from offering the second class in its quarterly series of Certificate in Research Administration courses, “Blueprint of a Proposal.”

The Executive Level II salary cap limitation for calendar year (CY) 2023 was increased to $212,100 by Executive Order effective January 1, 2023.

Use Research.gov for Proposal Preparation

As mentioned, the last day to submit new NSF proposals and supplemental funding requests in FastLane is Friday, January 27, 2023 (5:00 PM submitter’s local time).

As mentioned in October, NIH applications due on or after 1/25/2023 must use FORMS-H. These applications should be prepared using NIH's ASSIST until the UW's SAGE Grant Runner can accommodate the new NIH FORMS set.
