Greetings Colleagues,
The April MRAM materials are published for your review. Q&A from our session are included here for reference and will be available with the other meeting materials shortly.
Greetings Colleagues,
We have been informed that the state single audit, carried out by the State Auditor’s Office, was not filed on time. The UW's Internal Audit anticipates that the audit report will not be filed in the Federal Clearinghouse before June 30th, 2023.
Due to this delay, we are seeing some agencies and pass-through entities waiting to issue awards or award modifications to UW until the audit is filed.
Hello MRAM colleagues,
Please join us on Thursday for April’s MRAM! Please note we are extending the meeting to run from 9:00 through 10:30. We will be remote hosting the webcast of MRAM. We hope that you can take the time to join us!
Greetings Colleagues,
As many of you are aware, UW Finance Transformation (UWFT) is just months away from launching Workday Financials, a new, modern finance and supply chain infrastructure to support the University into the future, on July 6, 2023.
Due to FT impacts on CORE course content, some courses will be removed from the schedule for a few months for updating, and some may be removed permanently, depending on post FT Go-Live reality. If you are close to completing your CORE Certificate in Research Administration we strongly encourage you to complete remaining coursework this spring in order to avoid waiting for revised course offerings. Remember there is a 5-year window for certificate completion.
Research Compliance and Operations offices will be closed on Tuesday, March 14 as we attend an all-day Sponsored Programs Finance staff meeting. This includes the following offices:
The Federal Government recently approved the University’s FY21-FY23 fringe benefit rates as reflected in our newly updated rate agreement dated 12/29/2022.
This updated rate agreement has not changed our F&A rates and does not address FY24 fringe benefit rates.
Welcome to the Winter issue of the Research Community Guide to UWFT newsletter! We want to prepare you for the changes to come when Workday Finance launches in July 2023. Inside, you’ll find a round-up of important reminders, resources, and ways to reach us.
