Greetings Colleagues.

FORMS-G Highlights:
Due to an outage of one of the SAGE data sources, the following SAGE features are currently unavailable:
SAGE Advances
The option to create new and process existing SAGE Advance Budget requests is currently unavailable.

Federal Information
Some users are currently experiencing issues when attempting to log into the eFECS Cost Share module or the Non-FEC Cost Share Tagging System. UW-IT’s eFECS team is aware of the issue and is working to deploy a fix.
The eFECS Cost Share module and the Non-FEC Tagging System will both be offline and unavailable on Friday, October 8th beginning at 9:30am. The systems should be offline for roughly one hour before coming back online.
Beginning in December 2021, students and residents who are listed as the PI on an IRB application are required to take a one-time, on-demand, e-learning tutorial about getting started with the IRB. The IRB 101 tutorial covers the basics of human subjects research and provides important practical information about navigating the IRB process at UW. Although the requirement takes effect as of December 1, the tutorial is available now.
NIH implemented a new set of compliance checks within eRA Commons for Clinical Trial Registration and Results Reporting.
We urge those handling NIH Clinical Trials and their Research Performance Progress Reports (RPPRs) to review more information from NIH.
