eRA Commons, IAR, and ASSIST are currently experiencing issues related to an Amazon Web Services outage impacting the east coast. You may not be able to view, retrieve or upload documents (including for example submission of reference letters or upload of critiques) or to successfully submit grant applications. Notification processing is also impacted with e-mail notifications (incoming and outgoing) experiencing significant delays.
If you feel this issue has impacted your ability to submit on time to NIH due dates, please follow NIH guidelines for dealing with system issues. You can take advantage of their online ticketing system or call the eRA Service Desk toll-free at: 1-866-504-9552, phone: 301-402-7469. It is acceptable to list multiple impacted applications in the same ticket.
