GCA has updated our Urgent Request process to comply with the updated guidance on Advance Spend. Effective immediately, the order of priority will be as follows:
- SAGE Awards/Modifications in “GCA Assigned” status tied to an award line with a lifecycle status of Advance Spend or Temporary Internal Extension
- Urgent Requests
- Requests that have been returned to GCA
- Requests by date received in GCA
While we will do our best to process all requests, some requests that had previously been prioritized as urgent will be delayed. Please note that we have a processing backlog of about eight weeks.
We recognize the impact of these backlogs, and in response have hired two new staff members and rotated four existing staff members to the team to help tackle increasing volumes.
We appreciate your patience as we continue to train GCA staff members to process these requests.
