New Webpage for Rate Agreements & Basis Types
Workday has introduced the concept of Rate Agreement for the management of indirect costs, and while Basis Type is very similar to prior state, both are necessary elements to set up an award in Workday. This new webpage defines these elements and explains how each is used.

Budget Plans in the Workday R1234 Report
Campus users often notify GCA of an issue while using the R1234 report in Workday where the generated data does not show the full budget amount. This is due to the way that Workday uses award periods - multi-year awards often have their funding split across multiple award periods, while the R1234 report only returns budget data for the period(s) affected by the current filters. To address this, users should select Award Life to Date, through 10 Years (Award) when selecting a time period for their review.
