To refine the tracking of award modifications related to executive branch actions, these three new SAGE Award Modification subcategories will be available under the “Other Change” tab on an OSP and GCA MOD as of 2/21/2025. 

• Stop Work Order

NIH NOT-OD-25-068 imposes an indirect cost rate cap of 15% on NIH grants (new and existing). 

On Friday, January 31, 2025, a Federal Court issued a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) directing Federal grant-making agencies to "...not pause, freeze, impede, block, cancel, or terminate... awards and obligations on the basis of the President’s recently issued Executive Orders. This TRO also prohibits agencies from implementing or giving effect to OMB Memo M-25-13 (rescinded).

The ECC effort system is currently experiencing an unexpected outage. Our vendor is working to restore full functionality, but we currently do not have an estimated time for resolution.

Earlier this week, we released an exciting enhancement to Workday: embedded reports are now available directly within Award, Grant, Cost Center, and Gift worktags! This update simplifies workflows by providing instant access to balances, activities, and budget-to-actuals data. With this enhancement, users are able to view relevant worktag data in one place, without needing to run separate reports!
