NIH: Changes to Human Subjects System (HSS) Effective June 13th

Greetings Colleagues,

NIH announced immediate changes to the process for post-submission updates made in their Human Subjects System (HSS). These changes could impact preparation and submission of NIH Research Project Progress Reports (RPPRs) due today. Please see the above link for detailed information, including screenshots.

NIH announced re-issuance of some Parent Announcements for FORMS-F are anticipated by June 25, 2020. In the meantime, FORMS-E will continue to be available for some opportunities and for some, FORMS E should continue to be used until the FOAs are reissued.

NSF has delayed required use of the NSF-approved formats for the biographical sketch and current and pending support   until October. It continues to encourage use of these approved formats at this time and welcomes feedback.
