Greetings Colleagues,

The NIH IT folks have been extra busy.

On Wednesday 4.08.2020, we began to see an option to log into the Commons and ASSIST using a 2-factor authentication process via login.gov.

Right now, this is optional. It will eventually be required, but NIH hasn't announced the timing, yet. You can continue using your standard login for Commons & ASSIST for the time being. We will let you know when the new process will be required.

Dear Colleagues,

The Collaborative for Research Education (CORE) has been extremely busy converting our in-person courses to remote learning. We are setting up all courses, if appropriate, through Spring Quarter as Zoom webinars. Because of this change in how we provide learning, we felt it would be a good time to share some Best Practices and Guidance as you are creating your learning plan and preparing to take online coursework.

Dear Colleagues,

First, I want to say how much I appreciate the collaboration, coordination, flexibility, and patience I have experienced across all of our units during this unprecedented time. What a wonderful group! Personally, it has helped me a lot to move through this time of uncertainty.
