Based on user feedback, we have made updates that streamline the SAGE Advance Budget approval process and Advance Reviewer role setup in ASTRA.
What Changed?
Advances with financially responsible division or sub-division level organization codes can now be approved by either a division OR department level ASTRA-authorized Advance Reviewer.
Due to biennium crossover, the eFECS suite of applications will be unavailable for all users from Wednesday, June 30th at 5:00pm until Monday, July 12th at 10:00am. This lockout will include eFECS Effort, eFECS Cost Share Module, and the Non-FEC Cost Share Tagging System.
During the lockout period, users will be unable to view, edit, tag, or certify within any of the eFECS systems.

The Office of Research invites applications to the Fall 2021 round of the Royalty Research Fund (RRF) grant program. Proposals are due Monday, September 27, by 5:00 PM. Awards will be announced by January 15, 2022.

FY22 fringe benefit rates (i.e. payroll load rates) are available in the Benefit Rate Table and within SAGE budget. Use these updated rates on multi-year sponsored program proposal budgets to best reflect anticipated costs.

In preparation for our new advance budget process, no new advance budget requests can be initiated starting Monday, May 24 at 5 p.m through Tuesday, June 8. You may request advance budgets using the new process that will be available in SAGE on Wednesday, June 9.
