Annual PCI Compliance Training

Merchant Services has completed the development of our PCI Compliance/Payment Card Security training module. The training will be available through the UW Bridge platform. All staff, faculty or student workers who process or handle payment cards or can impact payment card security will need to complete this training at time of hire and annually as required by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (12.6.1). Any costs related to the Bridge Platform are included in your UW Merchant Fee.

To add employees to the training platform, we need each manager to submit a list of employee names and NetIDs and their associated Merchant ID using this spreadsheet attached to an email to pcihelp@uw.edu. Once employees are assigned to the training in Bridge, they will be emailed a link to the training module. They will have 30 days to complete the training. OMS will maintain central logs of training for compliance purposes.

Updates to this list, such as new hires or separated employees, should also use the spreadsheet and be submitted to pcihelp@uw.edu within 30 days of hire/separation.
