What is Cvent?
Cvent is a robust event marketing and management platform with a dynamic, robust event online registration system at its core. Merchant Services has negotiated a low, competitive fee on behalf of all units/departments at UW for a centralized event registration system. Cvent is now available as the campus-wide solution.
How is Cvent helpful for virtual events?
Many units have found added value with Cvent in our new virtual climate by:
- Creating a professional, event webpage to share details of a live virtual event
- Creating customized emails with zoom links and feedback surveys include
- Sharing event documents, speaker bios and presentation information prior to the zoom link going live
- Scheduling reminders to be sent at your desired date/time to increase participation and attendance
Cvent offers an integrated virtual event platform to host your event entirely online, or a hybrid of in-person and virtual. The Attendee Hub is an add-on option that can be activated for a single virtual event, or a series.
What is the cost to units?

While we do not offer complete event management, we offer support to set-up and create your event in Cvent; learn more here.
What do I need to do to use Cvent?
