A terminal allows merchants to capture required credit and debit card information and to transmit this data to the merchant services provider or bank for authorization and finally, transfer funds to the merchant. The University offers our merchants a wide variety of Clover terminals including cellular, mobile, and full register options.
TouchNet
The University of Washington has implemented TouchNet Marketplace as our central e-commerce platform. TouchNet is a campus solution provider, and Marketplace is their integrated payment platform that delivers a secure, compliant, integrated business environment for institutions of higher learning.
Cvent
Cvent is a robust event marketing and management platform with a dynamic, robust event online registration system at its core. Merchant Services has negotiated a low, competitive fee on behalf of all units/departments at UW for a centralized event registration system. Cvent is now available as a campus-wide solution.
