This course is an introduction to the Payment to Individuals (P2I) functionality of eProcurement. It describes how to create and submit payment requests to pay individuals for honoraria, royalties, awards/prizes, non-UW scholarships, services, expenses, and performers. A mixture of lecture, demonstrations, and lab exercises facilitate the learning process. Topics Covered: - Creating a P2I - Features, Benefits and Requirements - Viewing and understanding P2I status and approval flow graphs - Understanding business rules and best practices for using P2I - Differences between the eProcurement modules Target Audience: Users who create and submit paper checks requests to pay individuals Prerequisites: Prior experience using eProcurement desired but not required Duration: Approximately 2 hours are required to cover lecture, lab and exercises Class Materials: Intro to P2I (will be provided in class)
